ATHLETE SPOTLIGHTS

Meet Hal! He loves gymnastics! He really enjoys practicing his floor skills, and his favorite skill is the handstand.

Coach says, “Hal is amazing. He is incredible at taking directions, is a great role model and he is SO strong. His strength and flexibility has allowed him to master many skills, and we love watching him continually progress!”

Hal also enjoys playing piano, acting in musicals, playing with his dog, and making movies with his sister! He played the part of Pinocchio in the play Pinocchio and Hansel in the play Hansel and Gretel! When he grows up, Hal wants to be an actor!

Meet Teya! She loves to come to her Mini Peak class and learn gymnastics with her friend Eloise! Her favorite skill to practice is flips on the bar. The thing she loves most about Peak Gymnastics is the trampoline!

Coach says, “Teya has the best muscle memory and will go far in gymnastics. She listens well and is super sweet!”

When not at the gym, you can find Teya playing at home. She finds princesses fun and interesting.

When Teya grows up, she wants to be a flower!

Meet Ryanne! She loves to jump on the trampoline and her favorite skill is cartwheels!

Coach says, “Ryanne can be goofy and super sweet. Her vault jump freeze knees finish is perfect. Her skills have improved so much in the last 2 months, it is just so impressive. You can tell she puts in the effort at home too. I’m excited for her to move up to the next level!.”

When not at the gym, you can find Ryanne jumping on her trampoline at home.

Ryanne loves sushi and when she grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian!

Meet Lucy, Penny and Tilly!

Lucy loves to learn new skills and her favorite is a round-off! Coach says, “Lucy has advanced so quickly in gymnastics, and she comes to practice ready for anything and everything she could ever try. She’s strong and applies corrections as fast as she understands them. You can tell she has a true passion for it, and she shows that through her hard work and all the smiles when she achieves something new!” When Lucy grows up, she wants to work at Starbucks!

Penny loves going from a handstand into a bridge. She also loves humor and making people laugh. Coach says, “Penny is a strong and talented gymnast. She works hard and takes corrections very well. Penny is sweet and quiet, she sets an example for those around her. Penny has mastered her cartwheel and I’m so excited to see her get her pullover, she’s so close! I’m excited every class to see her improvement and cannot wait to see her progress continue into higher levels!” When Penny grows up, she plans to be a veterinarian!

Tilly enjoys learning forward rolls, being on bars and loves the color orange. Coach says, “Tilly is an incredible listener and helps set an example for kids around her. I enjoy her personality and cannot wait to see her each week and watch her grow! Tilly has a great forward roll, and I am excited to see her master her monkey jump. She is so fun to have in class!” When Tilly grows up, she wants to be a teacher!

Meet Joslyn! She has been at Peak since January and is excelling in her tumbling class. Her favorite thing about gymnastics is “coming to learn new skills, and I look forward to coming each week.” Her favorite skill is the front handspring!

Her coach says, “Joslyn has a good attitude and is very friendly to everyone. She is a great demonstrator and comes up with creative station ideas. She is not afraid to try anything. She now has her front handspring down and is progressing so well!”

When not at Peak, you can find Joslyn playing volleyball and hanging out with friends. She also likes to water ski! When she grows up she plans to be a teacher– no wonder she’s a great leader in class!

Meet Devyn! She has been at Peak since 2024 and is now in a level 3/4 class. Her favorite thing about gymnastics is that she learns so many things from it. Her favorite skill is the back handspring!

Her coach says, “Devyn is one of those silent leaders who is always paying attention and working hard no matter what. She just mastered her pullover to shift to 3/4 and we are so excited for her. We enjoy watching Devyn continually progress in all that she does, her form and grace is phenomenal and the skills she works at are flawless!”

Devyn says she has never actually stayed in a sport or continued with it besides gymnastics. When not at Peak, you can find Devyn playing Four Square! When she grows up she plans to be a hair stylist – that is so awesome!

Meet Adley! She attends our Mighty Peak class. Her favorite thing about Peak is her coach. Her favorite thing about gymnastics is doing forward rolls. Her favorite skill to practice is her mermaid pose!

Her coach says, “Adley is kind and a good listener, and it has been so great watching her confidence build up! She has mastered her forward roll, and I am so excited to see her tackle her pullover. She is such a positive addition to the class, and I cannot wait to see her skills develop!!”

When not learning gymnastics skills, you can find Adley playing outside. When she grows up she plans to be a doctor – that is so awesome!

Meet Lola! She attends gymnastics twice per week at the 3/4 level. Her favorite thing about gymnastics is “learning a new skill and mastering skills that I originally could not do.” Her favorite skill is a front handspring! What’s interesting is she learned her back tuck the day she learned her back handspring on the trampoline!

Her coach says, “Lola is so passionate about gymnastics and works hard at practice to make sure she’s getting better each time. She always comes in ready to do what it takes with a smile and never complains. She is so close to her back handspring on the floor – I love watching her continue to progress!”

Outside of gymnastics, Lola is also doing softball, basketball and soon maybe volleyball. When she grows up she plans to be a forensic psychologist – that is so awesome!

Meet Antonio (Toni)! His coach says, “Antonio does so well in class. Although a little shy, he is so kind and loves to do gymnastics. He does very well at the stations I put out and I love watching him progress!” Toni’s favorite thing at Peak is to climb the ladder and his favorite skill is a forward roll. Outside of Peak, you can find him playing with his paw patrol toys! Toni is also is silly and can dance very well! When he grows up he wants to be Spider-Man!

Meet Leandre (Leo)! His coach says, “Leandre is very sweet, focused and dedicated. He listens to directions and is progressing so well!” Leo’s favorite thing at Peak is the bars and trampoline. His favorite skill to work on is V-ups. When outside of Peak, you can find Leo hanging out with Toni since he enjoys playing with his brother. Leo can speak 3 languages – English, Albanian and Greek! When he grows up, he wants to be a firefighter!

Meet Ava! She is in a higher level 3/4 class and has been with Peak since July 2023. Her coach says, “Ava is a very quick learner. She perseveres through challenges with new skills. Her front handspring on vault is beautiful and she continues to progress!”

Ava’s favorite memory is “when I finally got my back walkover”. Her favorite skill to practice is the front handspring. Ava says that Peak has the best coaches.

Outside of gymnastics, you will find her also working on her soccer and basketball skills! When she grows up, she plans for her first job to be at Starbucks!

Meet Madelyn! Her coach says, “Madelyn is very kindhearted. While she is young for this class, she pays close attention, is so disciplined and focused that she has flawless glide swings on bars as well as other skills.” Madelyn loves bars, specifically pullovers and glide swings. Outside of gymnastics, you will find her playing on the trampoline (still working on gymnastics)! She has two dogs: one is a puppy and the other is 18-years-old! When she grows up, she plans to be a veterinarian!

Meet Ariana! Her coach says, “Ari is the sweetest and bravest girl! She even conquered the high bar! She always comes in with such a positive attitude, determined and is ready for anything!.” Ari also loves the bars, specifically now jumping to the high bar (even though she used to be scared of the uneven bars)! Outside of gymnastics, you will find Ari having fun doing outdoor activities of any kind. She loves creating awesome, homemade gifts for others. When she grows up, she plans to be a farmer!

Meet Charlie! Her coach says, “Charlie is so fun, she has an explosive and unforgettable personality that makes coaching her feel like a breeze. She’s very understanding and gets along with everyone.” Charlie loves cartwheels, working on beam and that coaches are sweet and supportive. When not at the gym Charlie can be found outside using her imagination. She wants to be an actor/singer when she grows up!

Meet Kennie! Her coach says, “I love that Kennie is always coming in excited and with a great smile on her face. She is always so willing to try new things, which is awesome.” Kennie loves flips on the floor and the bars. She also loves her coaches! Her favorite skill is back handspring and jumping from one bar to another. When not at the gym, Kennie is on her trampoline, or play soccer or badminton. Kennie also enjoys being in choir. When she grows up, she wants to be an Olympian!

Meet Oaklynne! She is in our Mighty Peak level and doing awesome. She enjoys learning new things on vault in gymnastics and her favorite skill is handstands. Her coach says, “Oaklynne has a fantastic dive roll, her handstand has really improved, and she has a really good attitude She's also encouraging to her teammates!”

When not at the gym, she is enjoying swimming, riding her bike, taking care of her animals and playing with friends. When she grows up she wants to be a doctor so she can help people!

Fun Fact: Oaklynne loves rollercoasters! Her favorite ride is the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disney World!

Meet Jahnvi! She just moved to level 3/4 after only a few months. Her favorite memory is jumping from the low to high bar and her favorite skill is a back walkover. Her coach says, “Jahnvi is a delight to be around. She cares about improving every time she comes. She works hard and has made great progress in just the short time she has been here. She has a great sense of humor and is a great role model in class!”

When not at the gym, she is riding her bike, walking around the neighborhood and hanging out with family and friends. When she grows up she wants to be a pediatrician. Jahnvi loves dogs (but does not have one)!

Meet Atharv! He loves dancing and drawing! His coach says, “Atharv always knows how to make everyone smile and laugh. He always takes time to celebrate every win with a goofy dance and positive attitude. He has worked so hard on vault and is meeting all his goals coming so far from where he started!”

Atharv loves sharing and gave out gifts on his birthday and saved one just for his coach to give her. So thoughtful! When he grows up Atharv wants to be a youtuber!

Meet Maddie! She loves doing back hip circles, but her favorite skill is handstands. Her coach says, “Maddie has a positive attitude and is always up for a challenge. She has always been one of the best listeners and walks in the doors with a smile on her face!”

When not at the gym, she is is riding her bike or scooter. When she grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian to care for cats (although she is allergic lol)! Fun fact: Maddie is good at doing make-up!

Meet Bella! She loves working on bar and floor skills. Her favorite skill to work on is her back hip circles. Her coach says, “Bella has a positive attitude and is always up for a challenge. Bella is so kind and brings joy to others. She is always trying new skills even though she is nervous and has made big progress!”

When away from the gym, you can find her doing cartwheels at recess! She also enjoys dancing and soccer. When she grows up, she wants to be a police officer!
Fun fact: Bella has traveled to many places like Mexico!

Meet Trinity! She is a level 3/4. She loves to learn new things and work on her round off back flip. Her coach says, “Trinity is awesome. She is such a fast learner and takes really good correction and has great awareness, which is excelling her progression even more!”

When not at the gym, she is horseback riding! Her favorite memory at Peak was celebrating her birthday here!

Fun fact: Trinity breeds rabbits for gymnastics money!

Meet Paisley! Graduating early from Mighty Peaks, she is now a level 1/2. Last month she jumped from the small bar to high bar, which is now her favorite memory. Her favorite skill is climbing to the top of the rope. Her coach says, “Paisley is very kind to others. She likes to learn new skills and always listens to corrections and works to improve things she needs to work on.”

When away from the gym, she loves to paint and do make-up. When she grows up, she wants to be a hair stylist!

Fun fact: Paisley can touch her nose with her tongue!

Meet Brianna! She is a level 3/4 gymnast who enjoys bars and floor most. Her coach says, “Brianna always brings a smile to class, is kindhearted and enthusiastic about gymnastics!” Brianna loves how her coaches encourage her to keep getting better. Her favorite skills are handstands and backbends.

When not at the gym, Brianna enjoys drawing, writing and playing with her little sister. She also enjoys playing on her monkey bars, swing set and trampoline.

When she grows up she wants to be a gymnast, teacher or nurse!

Fun fact: Brianna was born in Minnesota and moved here 6 years ago. She also has 2 dogs: a yellow lab named Holly and a Golden Retriever named Dino!

Meet Kyleigh! She loves to learn new skills and working on back hip circles. Her coach says, “Kyleigh is now a level 3/4. She is super cheerful, happy and so determined at home and outside of the gym, perfecting her skills. She progresses quickly and has great body awareness!”

When not at the gym, she is still at home doing gymnastics. When she grows up she wants to be a hair stylist! Fun fact: Kyleigh was born on a military base!

Meet Kinsley! She loves jumping from the springboard to the bars, but her favorite skill to work on it back walkovers. Her coach says, “Kinsley is only just turned 5 and is excelling extremely fast. She already has her back hip circle on bars and back walkover on floor! Not only is she a super hard worker, she’s always all smiles.”

When away from the gym, Kinsley is riding her scooter and playing outside. When she grows up she wants to be a teenager! Fun fact: Only after 4 months of joining, she was invited to try out for team.

Meet Abby! Her favorite memory here is meeting Coach or “Miss Lilly” for the first time! She loves meeting new people and getting better at gymnastics. Her favorite skill is handstands. Her coach says, “She always has the happiest smile on her face when class starts!” This picture is of Abby at a recent Showcase event. She is amazing!

When Abby is not doing gymnastics, she is also playing soccer and when she grows up she plans to be a teacher.

Fun Fact: Abby can roll her eyes to the back of head so you only see the white part of her eye - WOW!

Meet Maysen! She loves that our coaches let her try hard things and don’t hold her back. She especially loves doing cartwheels. Her coach says, “Maysen is so determined and hard working!” This picture is of Maysen at the recent Fall Showcase event. She did amazing! Her favorite gymnastics memory is getting her first ever bridge-kickover at the showcase.

Outside of gymnastics, Maysen loves playing with her little brother, Beau.

Fun Fact: She loves art and plans to be an artist when she grows up!

Meet Sophia! She is a level 5/6 on our recreational side. She loves her coaches, learning new skills and her favorite skill is fly away. Her coach says, “Sophia is one of the newer girls in class, but she always comes into class ready to learn something new. Sophia is currently working on a Yurchenko on vault (round off back handspring). I am always so impressed with Sophia and proud of everything she manages to try!”

Outside of gymnastics, Sophia enjoys hiking and running with her sister. She also played soccer for 4 years! Her long-term plan is to become a doctor or surgeon.

Meet Wyatt + Olivia! Wyatt and Olivia are siblings who are both determined, hardworking and will never give up. Regarding Wyatt, Coaches say, “Wyatt always has such a good attitude when coming to class and practices skills until he perfects them. He is a good leader and example to others.” Wyatt wants to be a famous singer when he grows up!

Regarding Olivia, Coaches say, “Olivia is so fun, has an awesome smile and she has a good attitude when coming to class and asks for corrections on skills and how to improve.” Olivia wants to be a school teacher when she grows up!

Outside of gymnastics, they both love to hang out with friends.

Meet Ahlya! Ahlya has been with us for almost a year and attends 3 rec classes each week, including Level 5/6 and Advanced Tumbling. Ahlya is working hard towards getting on the competitive team. Her favorite skill is a round off back tuck. Her rec coach says, “Ahlya is very determined with getting new skills. She is currently trying to get her back tuck and has made lots of progress in trying to get this new skill!”

When not at Peak, Ahlya’s favorite thing to do is play volleyball outside with her sisters. When Ahlya grows up she wants to be a physical therapist!

Fun Fact: People always think she’s 13 but she is only 11!

Meet Dian! Dian has been with us almost two years and attends two recreational classes each week. His favorite thing about gymnastics is his time on the trampoline. His favorite skill is doing a bridge. Dian loves his friends and coaches at Peak. His rec coach says, “Dian is always smiling. When he tried his back hip circle, he did awesome. Dian also listens well and has great form!”

When not at Peak, Dian is often with his dad either biking, playing catch or playing Mario games on the Nintendo Switch. When Dian grows up, he wants to be a businessman and negotiate!

Fun Fact: Dian can jump and do a 360 turn!

Meet Ivy and Skittles (pet hamster)! Ivy has been with us for a year and has recently switched to the competitive team at Peak. She says her favorite thing about gymnastics is flipping, but her favorite skill is specifically a round-off back handspring back tuck on the floor! Her rec coach says: “Ivy is determined and is starting to work on her back handspring by herself. She is always so positive when she comes into class!”

Ivy loves gymnastics so much that when she is not in the gym, you’ll still catch her at home doing gymnastics. She also enjoys playing with friends and her brothers. Ivy loves animals and her favorites are bison, koalas and turtles. When Ivy grows up, she wants to be a professional gymnast!

Meet Reese! Reese has been with us for over a year and is a level 5/6. She says she loves to push herself and her favorite skill is aerial round off backhand spring! Her coaches say: “Reese is always smiling and cracking jokes but when it comes to gymnastics, she’s awesome! Always trying to learn new skills and become the best gymnast she can be!”

Reese is learning sign language so she can communicate with her little brother – she already knows a lot of words. She also sketches, dances, and practices soccer and volleyball! When Reese grows up, she wants to be an actor, interior designer or a teacher!

Meet Ella (and Ruby)! Ella has been with us for over a year and is level 5/6. Her favorite memory is when she finally figured out how to do a back walkover! Her favorite skill is the front walkover. Her coach says, “Ella is working on her baby giants and is doing a stellar job! She recently moved up to level 5/6 only after being in a level for a short while.”

Ella practices gymnastics for fun at home on her trampoline. She also enjoys hanging out with family and friends as well as working with her dad in his woodshop. Two little dogs that she loves dearly also keep her busy. She and her family rescued them from the side of the road! When Ella grows up, she wants to be an interior designer!

Meet Hallie! She has been with us since 2021 and loves doing cartwheels off the beam! She loves learning gymnastics and her favorite skill is the handstand. Hallie’s coach said, “Hallie always gives all her effort and has made major progress in practicing her pullovers!”

When not at the gym, Hallie goes on trips with her family, and plays with her little sister. She also plays basketball and swims. Hallie’s talents go beyond physical -- she also loves art. She paints, colors, watercolors, and makes her own jewelry. When she grows up, she wants to be gem finder, an artist or gymnast!

Meet Fiona! She has been with us since 2021 and is a level 5/6! She loves seeing her friends and working on her skills, especially her round off backhand spring. Fiona’s coach said, “Fiona is always trying new things. She always comes into class with new skills she has been working on at home.”

As you may have guessed, when she is not here, she is at home practicing gymnastics or playing outside! She says, “I never give up!” When she grows up, she wants to be a pediatrician or a teacher!

Meet this awesome brother and sister duo! Dryden and Tinsley both attend gymnastics and are fantastic!

Tinsley’s best memories are jumping on the trampoline and her favorite thing to work on is forward rolls. She loves purple and playing with babies. She wants to be a mom when she grows up!

Dryden’s best memories are on the bar, but he loves working on his cartwheels and front flips. You can also find him on the basketball court rocking his mohawk! He plans to be a police officer when he grows up!

Meet Norah! Norah has been a gymnast for over a year. Her coach says, “Norah is very eager to learn new skills and is always trying her hardest! Norah always has a smile on her face, which lights up the gym!” Norah’s favorite memory is doing her first pullover. She worked really hard and we are so proud! She loves learning how to be a good gymnast and while it is hard, she said the coaches help her through.

She likes to read, draw, write, explore nature and spend time with friends. When she grows up, Norah wants to be a veterinarian.

Fun Fact: Norah has been writing books since she was 5! She loves coming up with new ideas and hopes to get published one day.

Meet Amy! She is a newer gymnast to Peak but has already advanced to Level 3/4! Her coach says, “Amy joined Peak not too long ago and has made stellar progress. She is always willing to do my weird stations and is super determined!” She loves tumbling and her favorite skill is a front tuck on the trampoline. Her favorite thing about Peak is the kind and funny coaches.

Fun fact: She likes to sing with friends. When she grows up, Amy wants to be a veterinarian.

Meet Faith! She has been an incredible gymnast at Peak since April 2021. Her coach says, “Faith is extremely dedicated and never gives up!” Her favorite skill is “the good ol’ cartwheel”. She said her first pullover was so amazing and the back hip circle was surprising too.

When not at the gym, Faith is an active artist. She loves art and being creative. Fun fact about Faith is that she fed a tiger this past Summer!

When she grows up, Faith wants to be a zoo keeper!

Meet Larkin! He has been an athlete at Peak for over a year. “Larkin has made huge progress on his form and focus since starting and he is always happy,” says his Coach. Larkin’s favorite parts of gymnastics is working with his friend and his coach (“who is the best” -Larkin). His two favorite skills are handstands and cartwheels.

When not at the gym, you can find Larkin swimming, playing outside with friends, video gaming or playing games with his family. Larkin also happens to know a lot about cars and can name a ton of them!

When he grows up, he wants to be a police officer!

Meet Lyla! She has been in our Jr. Peak class for 7 months. Her favorite thing about gymnastics is the bars, jumping on the trampoline and counting. She also loves cartwheels and getting help from her coaches. What do her coaches say about her? – “She’s a joy to be around. She has amazing arm strength and does very well on bars.”

When not in gymnastics, you can find Lyla putting water balloons on the trampoline and bouncing on them! She loves to dress up as Moana and wear her necklace with “the heart of Te Fiti”. When she grows up, she wants to be a painter!

Meet Avery!

Avery has been with Peak since July of 2021. She loves learning new things on the bars and her favorite skill is a pullover. She is a very determined gymnast, always respectful, and a hard worker.

When not in gymnastics, Avery enjoys jumping on her trampoline and playing with friends. She also lives on a farm with cows, chickens and cats! When she grows up, she wants to be an artist!

Meet Martina! Martina has been with Peak since February. She is known for awesome handsprings and even nailed a flawless back handspring in 2 weeks! We are all inspired by her level of dedication and learning. While trampoline front handsprings are her favorite part at our gym, you can also find her outside the gym swimming, going to the park, froyo and having fun at DEFY. She wants to be a French-Dog-Only Dog Walker!

Fun fact: Martina can wiggle her ears!
